The proccess of filming my first video with the school's equipment went suprisingly better than I thought. The filming was easily the most exciting part to participate as I'd never used a camera like that before. The tripod, on the other hand, was a different story. We may have accidently pulled it apart but I won't delve into that. Also, I didn't even know you could extend the legs or the base so it took a while for me to fully figure out how to use it properly. I'm a rookie making rookie mistakes when it comes to tripods but hopefully that'll change in the future (fingers crossed!). I got the hang of it in the end and it makes such a difference to the quality of the video. Instead of having a shaky hand holding it. the camera is kept still in most of the shots which makes for a good piece of work.
The editing part felt the most rewarding as it was just peachy to see it all come together in the end. I was particularly happy about how easy I got to grips with the software and I can't wait until I can do it again. For anyone who wants to know I used Adobe Premier Pro CS6 (and possibly over used the cross disolve effect)
I don't think there was any difficult challenges in particular, perhaps apart from nearly crushing myself and the camera with a car - twice - but you can look out for that in a little extra video which will be up in a couple days after this post. It was enjoyable working in a pair as both of us got the worked well together to produce a nicely designed piece of work to put in my blog - not to toot my own horn.

P.s The reason why there's a random dog and cat in the video is because I did a little filming at home. I didn't just find some random pets wondering around the school, don't worry.
